More and more attractions are emerging in Davao Oriental as the province strives to boost its tourism industry.

Over the weekend, Governor Corazon N. Malanyaon attended the Grand Opening of the newest farm resort in Banaybanay, Davao Oriental, Daya Farm and Adventure. The property sits on a vast farm in Brgy. Maputi, nestled in the midst of the lush beauty of nature and the splendor of the surrounding landscape.

In a heartfelt message, Governor Malanyaon extended her overwhelming appreciation towards the owners for the development of the area, noting, “This is the kind of tourism development that we need here in Davao Oriental, something we can be proud of. Truly world-class!”

She also encouraged more investors to help develop the province’s tourism industry in order to support its goal of becoming a regional tourism powerhouse. Using tourism as a pillar for progress and development and as a means of alleviating poverty, Governor Malanyaon has been passionate about her legacy projects in the said industry.

Daya Farm and Adventure features cabins, villas, and cottages to accommodate staying guests. They also cater to various events and occasions that can be hosted in its function halls and wide garden lawns. Other amenities include a pool and jacuzzi, a children’s playground, and a 3-course ATV track. Currently, Daya Farm has developed more than 2 hectares of its 9 hectares property.
