Vice Mayors’ League of Davao Oriental Elects New Set of Officers

The Vice Mayors’ League Davao Oriental Chapter elected its new set of officers on August 8 at the Honey’s Hotel in the City of Mati.

The new set of officers are:

President: Hon. Nestor Uy (Tarrragona)

Vice-President: Hon. Katrina Joy Orencia (Governor Generoso)

Secretary-General: Hon. Lorenzo Rabat (City of Mati)

Treasurer: Hon. Leizel Teves (Banaybanay)

Auditor: Hon. Melody Ann Benitez (Caraga)

Public Relations Officer: Hon. Panilyn Acido (San Isidro)

Board of Directors:

Hon. John Paul Lampig (Boston)

Hon. Modesto Layupan (Baganga)

Hon. Wilbur Chua (Cateel)

Hon. Alfonso Lahora (Manay)

Hon. Santos Alonzo, Jr. (Lupon)

Governor Corazon N. Malanyaon, who administered the oath-taking, congratulated the new officers. “This is a manifestation of your interest to serve the League and your respective constituents,” she said.

“On my part, I am always committed to all your needs. I hope that you will also give support to my administration, especially with respect to my development agenda,” the Governor said, adding that she is set to conduct an interfacing activity with national agencies, provincial offices, and the Local Government Units in every municipality to ensure harmony in the development direction of the province. 

“It is my hope that we will be able to complement each other’s resources, time, and efforts to achieve the goals that we all desire, which I outlined in my inaugural address,” she added.
