In his remarks made after taking the oath, Macaubos vowed his commitment to support the development thrusts of the provincial government. He called on his fellow LNB members to work together to support the provincial government’s agenda, especially in its goal of defeating poverty.

“I said it before, and I’ll say again, that unity is always the key to success. I am appealing to each and every one of you, considering every one of us knows the major thrusts of the Governor. We need to work together so that our Governor’s aim for our province will be achieved. Our strength is more than enough to make Davao Oriental a beautiful place to live in,” said Macaubos as he thanked his fellow LNB members for entrusting him with the position.

“Thank you for the trust. You now have a partner in the City of Mati. Rest assured that we are brothers and sisters, especially in the service of the Filipino people,” he added.

Governor Malanyaon extended her warm congratulations to the new LNB Vice President as she anticipates the LNB to become stronger with the latest addition to the organization.

She urged all the members of the LNB to help her achieve the province’s shared goal, which is to defeat poverty and push for economic recovery.

LNB President Rustan Castillones warmly welcomed Macaubos as he also renewed his vow to work with all the members of the Liga to support the Governor’s development agenda. “On behalf of all the members of the Liga. We are all leaders at the grassroots level, and we will give our 101 percent to the direction of your administration,” he told Governor Malanyaon. PIO
