A new and improved Provincial Governor’s Office -Social Services Unit (PGO-SSU) is now ready to cater to and serve Davao Oriental constituents needing medical and financial assistance.
Earlier today, September 18, Governor Niño Sotero L. Uy, Jr. spearheaded the formal opening of the new PGO-SSU office in its new location at the Old Mansion at the Provincial Capitol.
The new spacious office, surrounded by nature and greenery, is designed to provide clients with a serene and uplifting atmosphere. It offers a refreshing break from the usual crowded space where people have to wait in line.
Launched exactly one year ago under the administration of the late Governor Corazon N. Malanyaon and now being continued by the present administration of Governor Uy, the PGO-SSU signifies the provincial government’s commitment to better serve the people’s needs.
Since its opening, the office has played a crucial role in providing medical and financial assistance to those who require it, ensuring that residents in desperate need receive proper support.
Having a dedicated unit like PGO-SSU demonstrates the provincial government’s focus on addressing the medical and financial needs of its constituents, to promote the well-being and welfare of the community. The availability of these services has been benefitting thousands of constituents by offering them access to emergency medical care and financial aid during challenging times. PIO | Photos by JB Rain
