As a new traveler-friendly destination in the country, Davao Oriental is getting ready for the BONFIRE MUSIC FESTIVAL 2019 this April in partnership with the City Government of Mati and ORCA Promotions.
The two-day event touted as the biggest concert in the province will lure an estimated 7,000 tourists from all over the Philippines on April 6 to 7, 2019 at Provincial Sports Complex, Barangay Dahican, City of Mati.
“This event will kick start the Mindanao-wide circuit of music festivals,” said Gretchen of ORCA Productions adding that part of the proceeds will be given as trust fund for the Bahay Silangan (Drug Reformation Center) and Reception Study and Diagnostic Center (RSDC) in the province.
Bonfire Musical Festival highlights the ‘Sa Ngalan ng Pag-ibig’ hitmakers, December Avenue along with Davao bands Nairud sa Wadab, Harmoniax, Broken Chords of May, OrientRocks, Muzza Band, and Mark & Sid on the first day.
International DJ Tom Taus will be spinning the party on the second day with other top DJs in the country like Stefan Lan, Ron Poe, Jet Boado, Cathy Frey, Cassie D, and Jack Ripper with host Jed Ignacio.
A clean-up drive on the shores of Dahican and around the venue is slated on the third day of Bonfire Music Fest to be participated by the members of the organizing team, stakeholders and suppliers.
The general admission worth Php 1,500.00 permits goers for two days within the party area with free 1-bottle of beer, 10% discount on Paintball Challenge and a chance to win souvenir t-shirt or water bottle.
VIP goers will be given a BONFIRE shirt, drawstring bag with goodies & bottle of water, one cocktail drink, and five bottles of beer for Php 2,500.00.
