In a continued demonstration of dedication, support, and commitment to delivering essential government services to every Davaoeño, the Provincial Government of Davao Oriental, under the steadfast leadership of Governor Niño Uy, successfully brought its flagship program, Davao Oriental Bayanihan, to the remote barangays of Caatihan, San Jose, and Simulao in Boston on November 20.
This initiative provided thousands of residents from the three barangays with access to a wide range of government services aimed at alleviating poverty and sustaining the province’s peace-building efforts.
Now on its sixth leg, the Davao Oriental Bayanihan program has already reached various cities and municipalities across the province, making an impact in underserved communities.
During his heartfelt message to the residents, Governor Uy emphasized that the program is a tangible testament to the government’s commitment to work tirelessly for the welfare of its people.
“We are here today because we want to show you that your government is always working for you. The Provincial Government is relentless in finding ways to ensure that essential services reach every corner of Davao Oriental,” the governor said.
Governor Uy expressed his gratitude to all agencies and organizations that contributed to making the event another resounding success. He highlighted that his role is merely instrumental in facilitating these efforts, underscoring that the success of Davao Oriental Bayanihan and other programs stems from the proper utilization of public funds for the betterment of the people and the sustained development of the province.
