The Sanggunian is the legislative branch of a Local Government Unit.  As such, it is a law-making body empowered to legislate laws.

Provincial Legal Office

The Provincial Legal Office  is located at the 3rd Floor, Capitol Building, Capitol Hills, City of Mati, Davao Oriental.

Provincial Human Resource Management & Development Office

The Department responsible for the management and development of the human resources of the Provincial Government of Davao Oriental .
Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office

A mandatory office mandated by law has established provincial facilities to cater constituents of the province.
Provincial Civil Security Unit

Tasked to develop and enforce an effective system of providing security services that ensures the protection and preservation of life, government properties and assets.

Office of the Provincial Veterinarian

Mandated to function as the lead agency in livestock and poultry development, animal health and veterinary public health in the province.

Provincial General Services Office

PGSO MANDATE:

Created to provide the prescribe and improved system of procurement, care, utilization, custody and disposal of supplies and property.

The Provincial General Services Office (PGSO) is an office under the
executive arm of the Provincial Government of Davao Oriental. The Office
provides expertise in technical assistance and support to the Provincial
Governor in the implementation measures to ensure the delivery of basic
services and provision of adequate facilities.

PROGRAMS:
A. Records and Archives Management Program- A program which includes system, projects and activities for centralized procurement and effective records and archives management system.

B. Facilities Management ProgramA program that aims to sustain a developed, economically competitive and well-maintained facilities owned by the Provincial Government of Davao Oriental.

C. Maintenance Management Program- A program that promotes and implements preventive and systematic maintenance of the facilities, equipment and others.

D. Supply and Property Management Program- A program that consists of systems, policies and activities that initiates transparent, accurate, complete and timely supply and property management.
